Description

The Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy Directorate are looking to recruit a highly motivated, flexible, well rounded and suitably experienced person to take on the role of Governance Coordinator.


The post holder will work closely with the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Senior Management Team - including the Head of Service, Directorate Manager and Clinical Leads - in keeping Governance firmly embedded at an operational level across the acute and community services which make up the directorate.

Ideally the post holder will have a clinical background with experience and understanding of the Governance role.


You will provide support & leadership across the services with Health & Safety, management of complaints, clinical audit, incident investigation and management of medicolegal requests, as well as systematic management of local documents, NICE guidance responses, patient information, FOI requests and Governance meetings will form a significant part of the role.


In addition the post holder will be expected to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of Governance issues, translating trust and national strategy and policy into local processes, and helping the directorate to adequately meet the Trusts Governance Strategy.
