Education Welfare Officer needed in Wakefield £15.43ph ref 0008 BEC8 / 1

2 x staff required to work in conjunction with established Education Welfare Officers in assisting with Elective Home Education. The work will involve travelling around the Wakefield District and the postholders will be required to have skills in working with families and young people and able to assess work that is provided by them as suitable. Postholders will need to be able travel frequently around the district.

Candidates will need to be able to use IT systems and have a full understanding and good working practice of data protection and safeguarding.

The postholders would be working within an established team and supporting this educative work.

Full time hours on a temporary basis.
