- Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, encompassing electrical control panels, 3-phase electrics, control circuits, wax presses, shell room, and furnace equipment.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing/production team to meet targets and enhance machine run times.
- Prioritise maintenance requests and execute planned preventative maintenance efficiently.
- Comprehend and contribute to plant improvement projects.
- Coordinate with on-site contractors as needed.
- Facilitate the training and development of apprentices.
- To be eligible for the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be qualified to a minimum HNC standard and can demonstrate a good knowledge of 415v electrical skills, mechanical and electrical fault-finding, and repair skills. Welding or fabrication skills are also required, as well as PAT testing experience.
