I am recruiting for a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to work 1-1 with a child with ASD in reception.

The child has speech and language issues and needs the support of a caring and nurturing child. You will be working with a team of supportive TA's andexcellent teacher within a high achieving school. This position will be 5 dpw on an ongoing basis, potentially the full academic year.

  • Level 2 qualification minimum
  • Long term (an academic term or more) experience of working with children on a 11 basis
  • SEN experience covering Autism and lower level ability
  • Able to communicate and build rapport with the children you support
  • Confident in communicating with the SENCO, leadership team and parents
  • Passionate about working with SEN children & dedicated to helping them thrive and achieve
targets set in line with their individual education plan's (IEP)

  • Meticulous when it comes to completing IEP's to ensure everything is covered and the
child's accomplishments are recorded and rewarded
