    Job Title: Cover Supervisor for Secondary School in Barrow-in-Furness

    Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria

    Position Type: Temporary - Long Term Full and Part Time Available

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support a secondary school in Barrow-in-Furness. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about education and aspire to make a difference in the lives of young people.

    As a Cover Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Providing cover for a wide range of lessons across the school.
    • Ensuring the continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
    • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a respectful atmosphere.
    • Following lesson plans and delivering pre-prepared content effectively.

    To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to engage and motivate students.
    • Flexibility and adaptability.
    • Resilience and patience.
    • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
    • Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
    • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
    • Legal right to work in the UK.
