Position Summary
The Event & Marketing Intern will support on researching and writing leading sport industry editorial content for the Sport Industry Group website and the daily newsletter, in addition to running Sport Industry Groups social media and helping out with general website maintenance.
Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day support on editorial news, writing news announcements on the latest sponsorship deals, industry trends, emerging technologies, people moves and more. You will build strong relationships with key media contacts through the industry across agencies, brands, rights holders, suppliers and more. You will attend external events, interview senior industry leaders, and help develop new editorial ideas for Sport Industry Group.
- **Marketing, **updating social media channels while also managing the annual communications calendar.
- **Event Management Support **at busy periods and during live events. You will be a team player in a small but efficient team giving you the chance to expand your skills in multiple areas.

Ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the wider team as required.
Required Skills/Experience
Experience
- A university degree (or working towards completing one) and/or relevant work experience.
- A keen interest or experience in digital media and/or marketing communications would be preferrable but is not essential.
- Sport and/or sport industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Calm and focused under pressure with ability to problem solve.
- Able to work occasional late nights during busy event periods.
- Hardworking and selfstarting with a strong desire to achieve success.
- Interested in sport and keen to learn more about the sport industry.
- Commercially minded as well as a strong interest in journalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outlook, Word, PowerPoint proficiency.
- Experience working with WordPress.
- CRM software experience preferable.
- Graphic design experience preferable.
