THE ROLE

Communisis are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Leeds or Newcastle to support and influence activities relating to the manufacturing and logistics function for Communisis - with particular focus on the Campaign Fulfilment and Inbound business units.

Supporting Client Directors to produce accurate and insightful sales forecasting.
To provide value add and further insight and analysis into the profitability of customers and products


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To act as the primary business partner for the Director of Operations
  • Inbound and Campaign Fulfilment and to support the broader team in this part of the business.
  • To lead the forecasting and budget process for Inbound and Campaign Fulfilment including P&L, CAPEX and exceptionals
  • To oversee the production of customer and product profitability and provide insight and analysis on trends and performance
  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners for other functions/business areas to support the wider business as required e.g. Providing insight on the Inbound and Campaign Fulfilment business units to support Finance Business Partner
  • Commercial with modelling for tender submissions.
  • To ensure costs are controlled and understood, that processes are in place to appropriately track spend.
  • To lead in the development of performance indicators that will raise the overall performance of the Inbound and Campaign Fulfilment team. To act as the first point of contact for any performance data.
  • To review the monthend close for accuracy and ensure any variances are explained and understood.
  • To manage the overall salary cost budget and any discretionary cost budgets under the remit of the Inbound and Campaign Fulfilment.
  • Focus on continuous improvement to process and ways of working. With a particular emphasis on improvements to forecast modelling

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Experience working in a financial business partner capacity
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or a similar business / industry
  • Exposure to a large / multinational business would be an advantage
  • Strong intrapersonal skills, ability to build relationships and generate trust when working without face to face contact.
  • Commercial acumen, the ability to exercise judgement one cases that will move the needle.
  • Excellent attention to detail while being able to demonstrate a strategic understanding.
  • The ability to remain objective and independent, bring the truth to the business and potentially delivering difficult messages when required.
  • Commercial acumen, awareness of business planning, P&L management and accounting concepts.
  • Strong communication and team working abilities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Print Management would be an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of the financial management and budget processes.
  • Problem solving skills.
