As a Barclays Data Management Business Partner, you will join Chief Data Office which is responsible for defining Barclays' data and records management strategy, policy and standards.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing Data Managementactivities such as critical data identification, data ownership engagement, data lineage, data quality, data architecture and communications and training activities for Data Domains within Private Bank.

Working Flexibly

What you'll be doing?:


  • Managing the establishment of a robust and sustainable Data management framework aligned to the Group Data Management Policy and Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Taking the lead on undertaking a current state assessment against the GDMS framework on data driven initiatives Barclays Cubed, Client Insights portal
  • Supporting the Business to drive the remediation of critical risks and issues risks identified as part of the Metadata and Data Quality work streams related to the domains under Private Bank
  • Managing detailed plans for data quality and lineage management and execution by data domains and for the overall work package
  • Leading and facilitating appropriate Data Governance working groups and supervising the establishment of a standardised change management process
  • Maintaining interaction of Private Bank senior stakeholders and leads in relevant internal and external initiatives within Barclays
  • Identifying and reviewing material changes to Data Artefacts (Data Lineage, Metadata Definitions, Authoritative Data Sources and Data Privacy Rules and Data Records)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and solid leadership skills
  • Solid attention to detail and proven problem solving skill

  • Experience in leading small to medium size teams
  • Solid Private Bank/ Wealth Management domain knowledge
