We're off the M65, on the border of Hyndburn and Blackburn. Frontier Retail Park is a five minute walk from our door.

Local attractions such as Blackburn's historic cathedral, the Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery, King George's Hall, and Blackburn Empire Theatre are a 10-minute drive away.

The hotel 150 bedrooms and has substantial parking available for big group bookings.

The restaurant and bar is available for inhouse and external guests and has comfortable seating, a relaxed atmosphere and ample space for a small meetings.

Our Linen Porters play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. They have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation. Often operating on the front line, they are the real ambassadors of our company, and are committed to consistently delivering high standards

What we require from you

Our Linen Porters are hardworking individuals who can work on their own initiative and are key players in our Housekeeping team.

They will be self-motivated, organised and can work efficiently.

These key team members will be working closely with the housekeeping team to deliver our core standards and provide our guests with a great stay every time.

This position will include shifts working Saturday and/ or Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods including bank holidays.

This list is not exhaustive:

To carry out daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedules to the standard required and ensuring the correct records are completed.
Ensure that Housekeeping cleanliness standards are maintained at the highest level, to comply with legal requirements and company policy.
To minimise operating costs by using all equipment and products in line with their guidelines.
Collect linen from corridors and arrange for collection.
Strip beds to retrieve linen
Take care of stock.
Count incoming deliveries and distribute throughout housekeeping.
