Expect Distribution is a fast paced, expanding business specialising in warehousing, contract logistics and UK palletised distribution based just outside of Bradford and easy accessible via the M62.

This is an amazing opportunity for an office based apprentice to join our customer care team. Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will become a
level 2 qualified Customer Service Practitioner through Shipley college. There will be the opportunity to progress and move onto level 3 in the future.


What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a paid job where the employee learns and gains valuable experiences.

Alongside on-the-job training, apprentices spend at least 20% of their working hours completing classroom-based learning with a college, university or training provider which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.


This includes:

  • Paid employment with holiday leave
  • Handsonexperience
  • At least 20% offthejob training
  • Formal assessments which leads to a nationally recognised qualification (level 2 Customer Service Practitioner)

What we are looking for?


Ideally we are looking for a person that has strong Excel skills, the ability to multi task and great phone etiquette when dealing with customers.

However all of these things can be taught, the most important thing to us, is a willingness to get stuck in and learn


The primary responsibilities for this role will be:

  • Provide help and advice to all customers in a professional manner.
  • Investigate and resolve any customer queries, problems or complaints.
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records of customer discussions and all correspondence.
  • Provide reports as requested for customers including, KPI's and daily updates.
  • Provide reports/analysis as requested internally by the Management team.
  • Carryout daily checks on customer accounts looking for different trends and reporting relevant information to the Customer Care team.
  • Supply and follow up customer quotations when required.
  • Import/Export Partner CSV files. Send load lists, manifests and paperwork.
  • Ensure you maintain a high level of health & safety standards and follow all company procedures in relation to health & safety.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00,(37.5 Hours per week)


Salary:
National Minimum Wage / Living Wage

£4.81-£9.50 per hour
