An exciting role has opened as Corporate Engagement Executive to work with Imperial Business Partner members to establish relationships and meaningful engagement between Imperial experts, innovators and global businesses.


Imperial Business Partners (IBP) offers an exclusive membership platform that provides services for corporates to access and leverage Imperial College expertise and innovation to address strategic company challenges.

In this role, you will be overseeing the delivery of these services and directly manage specific IBP clients experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

In this fast paced and challenging role, you will:

  • provide excellent membership experience to assigned accounts and ensure members retention, including client-focused project management,
- maintain IBP's excellent reputation and levels of engagement, as well as support IBP growth,
- maximise opportunities for cross selling and members further engagement with other Enterprise services.


Essential requirements:


Experience of project management and relationship management, managing multiple programme initiatives, planning and managing senior executive events and services, is essential in this role.

You will rely on your strong relationship skills to build rapport with academic and corporate stakeholders as well as your excellent communication skills to be able to work with complex scientific, education and research environment and produce relevant briefings and executive summaries suitable for academics and corporate stakeholders.


To do this successfully you will have:

  • Experience of Customer relationship management and stakeholder management
  • Evidence of multidisciplinary expertise and knowledge in understanding different technical disciplines.
  • Experience of analysing a wide range of emerging technologies
  • Excellent communications skills highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write narratives about future impact of technologies and present these visions to a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to draw out in depth feedback from academics and IBP members, monitor their satisfaction, gathering detailed intelligence through dialogue.

This is a full-time permanent position.

  • The College is currently trialling a _Work Location Framework_ until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite. The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview._
