Role Overview:

We seek to appoint 2 Cover
Supervisors to join George Pindar School. These posts are permanent, working 37
hours per week, on a term time only basis.

George Pindar School is an 11-16
secondary situated in Scarborough. We are a community school where our

This
role will provide short term cover for absent teaching staff, allocating
pre-prepared work, keeping pupils on task and managing the behaviour of pupils
during class. The role does not involve
planning, preparing, delivering lessons or assessing and reporting on the
development progress and attainment of pupils. This role is ideal for those
contemplating a career in teaching, gaining first hand classroom experience
groups.
