About the Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager (Banking) role:

Our client is an established Bank with an enviable track record & market leading proposition across the Corporate & Commercial Banking space.


They now have a newly created growth opportunity for a Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager (Banking) to join their dedicated regional team.


Purpose of the Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager (Banking) role:

Help local East England based businesses to prosper by offering the funding, support and the encouragement they need to grow? This is an exciting opportunity for a Mid Corporate Relationship Manager within the Mid Corporate business where clients will typicallyhave a turnover of between £25 million and £100 million pounds.


You'll have a portfolio of approximately 83 Groups of clients based within the Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire area.


Joining the East England Mid Corporate Team, which forms part of the East England Region within Commercial Banking, you'll be responsible for supporting clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits and a wide range of other services.

There is an expectation to grow the portfolio so you'll be promoting the bank with professionals and key influencers in the local community to develop new business opportunities and bring more clients to the Bank.

As well as this you'll be responsible formanaging the risk and compliance of the portfolio.


Key Accountabilities of the Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager (Banking):

  • Providing excellent service to our Clients, putting them at the heart of what you do, making valuable contributions at every interaction and becoming a "trusted advisor"
  • Being seen as the "go to" banker in your geographic area of responsibility.
  • Maintaining a high profile with external influencers and the local business community to achieve our client's aim of being the best bank for clients
  • Providing a range of funding solutions to clients from a Term Lending product range tailoring them to Client needs
  • Building relationships with Group Partner companies and through them bring the whole bank to the client delivering products to meet their needs
  • Managing the risk and compliance of your client portfolio

Ideally you will demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:

  • Growing market share of Clients & Lending
  • Highly proficient at building and maintaining positive relationships with external professionals and adept at winning good volumes of higher value new client relationships

  • Uses specialist credit and sector knowledge along with all available digital tools to deliver excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share and managing associatedrisks
