We are seeking a passionate and experienced IT tutor to join our team.

As an IT tutor, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing IT courses for students in further education.

Responsibilities:


  • Designing and delivering IT courses to meet the learning needs of further education students.
  • Developing teaching and learning resources and materials that support effective learning.
  • Assessing students' progress and providing timely feedback on their work.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress, attendance and performance.
  • Providing academic and pastoral support to students, including identifying and addressing any additional support needs.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in IT education and incorporating them into teaching practice.
  • Collaborating with other tutors and academic staff to ensure high quality provision for students.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the Academy's IT curriculum.

Requirements:


  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience of teaching IT to further education students.
  • A sound understanding of the principles of effective teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • An enthusiastic, studentcentred approach to teaching and learning.

Salary and Benefits:


  • The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on qualifications and experience.

Salary:
£18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
