Our Partnerships & Change directorate supports and delivers the UK SBS portfolio of change, owning change management processes and delivering the underpinning portfolio, programme and project management services and professional expertise.

Our team provides enterprise architecture and business analysis capability, as well as leading partnership management and future services development.

We have a wide portfolio of programmes and projects, which deliver business improvements and change for our clients to support their rapidly changing demands and the vital public functions they carry out.


The Head of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for building and nurturing strong business relationships with our clients, ensuring that we have a strong understanding of client needs, that we maintain high customer satisfaction levels, and that we work closely together with our clients to achieve the best outcomes for the UK public.


We currently have a great opportunity for a Head of Strategic Partnerships to join our senior leadership team and help contribute towards the development of the service.

In this role you will work closely with our Chief Change Officer to set the direction for our teams, provide visible leadership, and foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment with positive team dynamics and a focus on health and wellbeing.


  • Strategic awareness and insight, with the ability to articulate and build consensus around the future vision
  • Significant leadership and management abilities, combined with effective influencing, negotiating and representational skills
  • Experience of developing and implementing change to deliver strategic goals and innovative responses to complex issues
  • Experience of making riskbased judgements in the delivery of services


We offer flexible and remote working options, our team usually work from home and come into the office once a week, but we are flexible on this too.

You can choose which office you prefer to work from - Swindon, Newport, or Billingham.
