We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant (TA2) with SEND experience to join our Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2 team, to work term time plus one week.

At Crab Lane Primary School, our aim is to deliver the highest quality of education to all our pupils.


We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting and nurturing young children in the primary sector.


Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Implementing personalised learning plans to cater to the specific needs of each pupil, under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and aiding the teacher in managing behaviour.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to establish a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of children with social, communication, and interaction needs.
  • Showing dedication to providing extensive onetoone support to a pupil.
  • Working closely with the SENDCo to review progress and strategies
  • Contribute to creating resources for SEND pupils
