The role will also involve working with a small, group of teaching assistants, therefore the post holder will need to have had experience of deploying and guiding a team of teaching assistants.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge, experience and understanding of the full primary age range and must have a significant interest in or experience of SEND.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating individualised teaching and learning programs for children with moderate learning difficulties.

We are looking for someone who has:

    • Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating individualised learning programmes for pupils with MLD
    • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policy and practice relating to pupils with MLD.

It is essential that the successful applicant is highly motivated and has the ambition and drive to enable every child to be the best that they can be and have a passion for improving the outcomes for children with additional needs.
