Are you passionate about creating an outstanding student experience within a vibrant academic community? Are you a confident communicator with a background in social sciences? Signature Recruitment is partnered with our client, a leading London university, seeking a Student Experience Coordinator.
This hybrid role has an immediate start with a duration of 3 months.As Student Experience Coordinator within the Faculty of Social Sciences, you'll be instrumental in delivering the Student Experience Strategy. You'll focus on events organisation, student engagement, and ensuring a seamless transition into academic life for students.
This role provides the opportunity to contribute significantly to the student journey, from recruitment through to graduation, within a large, diverse, and international student body.
Your efforts will support the faculty's aim to provide an enriching academic and social environment, fostering career readiness, wellbeing, and a strong sense of community among students and alumni.
Student Experience Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the Student Experience Strategy, enhancing student satisfaction and engagement across the faculty.
- Coordinate and deliver welcome and induction activities, ensuring a positive start for new students at the university.
- Organise a variety of events, including social activities, wellbeing workshops, careerreadiness programs, and alumni networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with programme directors, department heads, and the Communications Manager to align student voice initiatives with faculty goals.
- Address and solve logístical and administrative challenges, ensuring the smooth execution of significant events like graduation.
- Engage with student representatives and support the election process, facilitating effective student participation and feedback mechanisms.
Student Experience Coordinator Key Skills:
- A degree in Social Sciences or related field, with experience in student union work or similar roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong task management abilities, from concept development through to event delivery.
- A tenacious, peopleoriented approach, capable of inspiring participation and addressing challenges creatively.

Salary:
£18.00 per hour
