The Safety Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees.

By implementing effective safety policies, conducting thorough inspections, and providing comprehensive training, the Safety Specialist helps create a safe work environment where accidents are minimized.

This position requires strong analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis, as well as the ability to provide basic first aid when necessary.

Additionally, excellent report writing skills are essential for documenting safety activities.


Duties:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Company and HSE policy.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities.
• Maintaining our Fleet and ISO management systems.
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of accidents or incidents
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to provide basic first aid when necessary
• Excellent report writing skills to document safety inspections, incident investigations, and training activities
• Strong communication skills to effectively train employees on safety procedures and policies
• Attention to detail to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
• Pervious experience in construction is mandatory.

Salary:
£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
