We are currently looking for a Reservations Executive to join us in our Revenue Sales office in Edinburgh on a part-time or full-time basis (weekend roles also available).

The Role:


As a Reservations Executive, you will work in our Central Reservations Office based in the Centre of Edinburgh and will be the main point of contact for guests and booking agents prior to their arrival on-site at any of our hotels or apartments complexes.

The role will involve you communicating to a high standard and ensuring guests receive a luxury experience via all your pre-stay communication.


The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Respond to all guest requests in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Check reservations made the day prior to ensure all comments, billing instructions and deposits are correctly detailed on the reservation.
  • Group Management; Converting enquires into sales, securing method of payment, inputting rooming lists, confirming meal options (with our offsite venues where applicable), monitoring cancellation and release dates.
  • Identify and communicate any potential sales leads or corporate business bookings to help drive direct business moving forward.
Your role may involve you supporting the Group Revenue Manager within the office as required.


The Person:


  • Knowledge of MEWS and Opera Cloud PMS desirable
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a reservations role is desirable
