An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our relatively small Outpatients New Appointment team of 5, concentrating on the 2ww Bookings supporting patients who require their first new suspected cancer appointment.


This post is for a 12 month secondment / fixed term contract cover, currently based off the Hospital site but this may change in approximately 1 year.


You will need to be empathic, with the ability to pay attention to detail, to maintain professionalism at all times and to ensure that all referrals received are registered onto the Electronic Patient Record, are uploaded to the Acute Care Portal and registered onto the Somerset Cancer Register to ensure accurate tracking of the patients cancer pathway.


This is a very busy role, also very rewarding being able to support patients during what can be a stressful time.
