New Strategy, New Team, New Donor Relationships


Central to our revamped Supporter Development team we are seeking a Supporter Development Co-ordinator to support with our Gifts In Wills programme.

Reporting into the Supporter Development Manager, you will help promote Legacy Giving to our existing supporterbase, identifying legacy prospects and Pledgers to strengthen RBL's £25m a year income stream.

This vital role will promote Gifts in Wills through a range of Direct Marketing and Digital campaigns and Events.


All campaigns will follow appropriate supporter journeys, encompass targeted segmentation, incorporate legacy propositions, and appropriate asks to maximise response rates to secure future income for RBL.Ensuring every legacy communication is receivedat the right time - with the right legacy ask, and every supporter is thanked & responded to through our legacy conversion and stewardship programmes throughout their lifetime, is essential.

As the largest militarycharity in the UK and home of the Poppy Appeal it has provided support to members of the Armed Forces community for over 100 years.

Today is no different. The needs of veterans, young and old, serving personal and their families are growing. To support them we must raise awareness and secure donations, and that is where you could come in.


We have launched a new fundraising strategy and a new team structure to deliver longer term and focused growth, so the charity is now looking for new people to join our brilliant and evolving fundraising team.


You will have experience in delivering complex marketing campaigns and projects and be a great communicator, able to liaise with multiple stakeholders and key suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to high standards.


Experience of understanding budgets to monitor and manage campaigns is required, alongside the ability to compile campaign results to share insights with wider teams.


We are also home of the extraordinary Poppy Appeal and you will work alongside a dedicated fundraising team who bring to life this nationwide remembrance activity each year, which is the largest, longest and most memorable appeal in society.


Our new fundraising strategy is called 'Three Giants' to focus our income generation work on protecting and strengthening on the three vital areas of the Poppy Appeal, our Individual Giving and Legacy activities.

You'll be joining a reenergised team readyto embark on a new focused direction to serve the thousands of beneficiaries who need our help every single day.
