We are looking for a colleague to join us as a key player in our dedicated team, within the Global Business Services Accounts Payable Team based in Paisley.

This role would suit someone with either some accounting knowledge or some Accounts Payable experience, who is keen and willing to learn in a global Shared Services environment.

Working as part of a small team, the role will be responsible for day to day contact with the allocated customers' representatives about payments, and ensuring they are applied and matched to the accurate account/invoice.

The role has a wide outreach, and will enjoy excellent teamwork with colleagues from across the department.

The position will involve:

Processing of invoices
Wide outreach, to our customers and to internal teams and colleagues.
Assisting in the preparation of payment runs
Matching payments to invoices
Cash clearing
Handling queries

Key skills & abilities:

Computer literacy
Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
Keen attention to detail
Well organised with good time management and prioritisation
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Ability to contribute to good teamwork and also to use initiative
Readiness to assist others and provide support when required
General Standard of Education
