My client, a top 50 ranked UK firm, are looking to recruit an assistant Lawyer to support the Partner to deal with a caseload of criminal regulatory cases and inquest work.

This technical and corporate client-facing role requires a qualified lawyer with regulatory or inquest experience and rights of audience, whether as a Solicitor or Barrister.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in building client relationships, delivering training, networking, business development, mentoring, as well as providing legal solutions to complex technical problems.

The role will primarily focus on Health and Safety/Regulatory work, dealing more with corporate risk clients than insurer work.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analysing prosecution evidence, drafting statements of clients and witnesses, liaising with the Court, Coroner's Office, clients, and relevant regulators, and liaising with experts.

You'll also be responsible for drafting written submissions, attending conferences and meetings, attending trials and inquests, preparing bundles for hearings, and more.

In return, salary up to £50K DOE, work-from-home options with two days in the office per week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays as well as an excellent benefits package.
