- As an EDS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the JLR Engineering team, collaborating with leading brands and products. Your responsibilities will include leading the design and development of on-engine electrical harness components for our engine manufacturing plant.
- Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Ownership of core Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and related documentation.
- Management of product development processes in alignment with the component creation and delivery system.
- Coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of all APQP deliverables.
- Meeting quality, cost, timing, function, and weight requirements at program gateways.
- Strong technical understanding of Electrical Harness design principles.
- Experience in resolving business, technical, and process issues within a Project Team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate design and delivery status to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with suppliers and management.
