We are now currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to join a Special Needs Schools in the Hertfordshire area with an OUTSTANDING Ofsted rating

The SEN School specialises in Severe Learning Difficulties for students aged 2-19 years of age.


This SEN Teaching Assistant role is a Full-Time, Permanent post and you will be supporting children with Learning Difficulties and Autism.

There is a car park on site or there is available parking nearby but certainly a local bus route or train station nearby.


All schools will have a long-lasting relationship with RT Education, therefore you may be offered a contract with the school or a permanent position once you have proven yourself.

Person Specification

  • Have experience as a SEN Teacher Assistant
  • Training is given also.
  • Need to have a high level of understanding of Autistic Spectrum Needs and SEN.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Have a sensitivity and caring approach towards the children and act accordingly towards each child's needs.
  • Needs to be flexible.
  • Ability to work alongside teachers and parents.
