Description
Milk Education is working closely and supporting a Nursery and Infant School in the heart of Trafford. We are looking to employ a full-time Teaching Assistant for their Early Years Foundation Stage class. We are looking to fill this Teaching Assistant roleto begin January. The Teaching Assistant will be school opening times

Responsibilities of an Early Years Teaching Assistant:

  • To work under the direction of the teacher in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils' work.
  • Work closely with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals, targets/appropriate to Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Assist with the planning of learning activities.
  • Monitor pupil's responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.
  • Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils' achievement, progress, problems etc

Qualifications For an Early Years Teaching Assistant:

  • Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent childcare qualification ie, Childhood Degree/Early childhood studies
  • Have good working knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and be familiar with the seven areas of development
  • Be fully available now or in January 2023
