    Are you an electrical maintenance technician or engineer who fancies being a field service engineer but doesn't want to constantly be away from home?Work in your 'Patch': You will work mainly in your 'region,' covering Bristol, Wiltshire, and sometimes Oxford

    Home For Dinner:
    You may work further afield, but the current team tends to stay away from home for only 8 nights per year

    Variety:
    You will enjoy the variety of working on new installations, helping to deliver maintenance contracts and spending around 20% of your time working from the company head office/workshop in the Bristol area

    Excellent Benefits:
    On top of the generous basic salary, you will receive a payment of c£1,500 for being part of the on-call rota, a potential annual bonus of c£2,000, a company van, a pension matched up to 5%, private medical and paid overtime

    What you will be doing:
    Installation, service, and repair of variable speed drives (VSD's), motors and other electrical equipment on customer sites.
    Effective fault finding and planned maintenance of equipment.
    Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental policiesConducting Risk Assessments and completing Method Statements.
    Completing all company and client documentationUndertaking replacements, upgrades, and renewal of old equipment.
    Attending customer sites as and when required, including out-of-hours and occasionally weekends.
    Attending relevant training and internal meetings as required.
    Participation in the service On-Call Rota.
    Completing site surveys to allow the company to provide customer quotations for new work.


    What you will need:
    A time served apprenticeship gained in the manufacturing sector.
    Experience with electrical drives.
    Experience as a field service engineer or experience as an electrical technician/engineer in manufacturing. Must hold a full driver's license with a maximum of 3 points.


    What you will receive:


    A salary of £45,000-£52,000 (dependent on experience) + on-call payment (circa £1,500 per year), potential annual bonus (circa £2,000) pension (matched up to 5%), company van (including fuel card), private medical (after probation period), company mobile, laptop, tools and test equipment, 23 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising to 27 days + Bank Holidays with service) + paid overtime.

    The working hoursWorking hours are mainly Monday to Friday, with the addition of forming part of the on-call Rota 1 week in 6 for evenings and weekends.
