Role Description

Take the lead in generating income through proactive arbitrage activity notably in the FX/money markets. This will entail a sound understanding of financial markets enabling ongoing identification of revenuegenerating opportunities
Identify opportunities in the bond market utilising repo where appropriate
Participate in recommending liquidity strategies which enhance income through a sound understanding of the NSFR and LCR metrics
To assist with providing adequate funding for the Bank as designated by the Head of Treasury
Ensure that all activity is undertaken in accordance with the bank's risk appetite and all internal limits (capital, liquidity, credit in particular)
Ensure that all trading is conducted on a professional basis in accordance with the Bank of England Money Markets Code and the Global FX code
Manage and be accountable for the profitability of: FX, MM, and All Advisory Services

Role Requirements

Educated to degree level / IFQ / Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
Previous front office experience with excellent knowledge of Fixed income FX, Money Markets risk events, and prevailing financial market conditions
A strong background in Asset and Liability Management is also desirable
Previous Deliverable FX Dealing experience
Strong relationship skills and a keen Networker
Previous experience of Islamic Banking would be ideal
Significant experience in cash management, pension management, capital markets, and/ or corporate finance in a corporate banking environment
Experience working in a global business environment
