Description

RM Recruit Ltd are working with our Birmingham based third sector client to recruit a Finance Technician on a fixed term contract for circa 9-12 months providing maternity cover.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you will provide full support to the Head of Finance and Financial Accountant.

Main duties include:

Assisting in timely monthly management accounts
Working in collaboration with budget holders
Balance sheet reconciliations
Cash management and reporting
Capital income and expenditure monitoring
Supporting with the cash flow and balance sheet forecasts
Support in month end and statutory accounts preparation
Reconciling control accounts including accruals & prepayments
Posting journals and uploading relevant information onto finance system
Updating budgets and forecasts and ensuring accuracy
Bank reconciliation
Maintain a sound suite of reporting units and departments within those, and advise finance staff on how to correctly set up and manage specific technical funds
