Procurement Manager - Poole - Salary up to £50,000

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage the sourcing of products and equipment to ensure they deliver on value for money and best practice
  • Build strong working relationships to allow good strategic practice and best value
  • Grow an established supply chain and manage the communication between all departments
  • Make sure all materials sourced are fit for purpose and meet the companies standards in quality, safety and sustainability
  • Manage supplier performance by analyzing and comparing against KPI's to ensure the service provided is within contractual obligations

Skills & experience required:

  • Proven experience in a successful procurement management role
  • Strong knowledge of supply chains with the ability to drive improvements
  • Experience delivering on cost efficiencies and assessing supplier costs
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relations mainly with suppliers
  • Able to multitask and work to tight deadlines under pressure
