We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Head of Terminal within our PRM (Passengers with Reduced Mobility) operation based at Heathrow Airport.


As Head of Terminal, you will be accountable for the terminal's performance, in line with SLA and legislative requirements of the PRM service.

You must have a deep understanding of the PRM operation and the legislation that supports disabled traveller.


You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the service, implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures to achieve the goals and objectives.


The Head of terminal plays a critical role in the success of our operation, driving innovation, growth, and profitability while ensuring that Wilson James remains aligned with its core values and mission.


Main Duties:


  • Provide strong leadership and direction to your team ensuring that your terminals operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize terminal operations, including productivity, safety, and costefficiency.
  • Oversee daytoday terminal operations, ensuring your management teams are proactively managing their teams and proactively driving consistent performance.
  • Maintain excellent customer/stakeholder relationships, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns, and ensuring that our customer / stakeholder requirements are met.
  • Develop and manage the terminal's budget, ensuring that we operate within our financial parameters.
  • Lead and develop your operational team to deliver the highest levels of performance. You will set objectives and manage the team as appropriate.
  • Lead on industrial and employee relations within your terminals.

Essential Criteria:


  • Proven history in PRM operations, leading a successful team and achieving contract goals.
  • Full Driving license
  • Experience of managing change and directing teams of people to perform against specific targets.
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Strong in MS word/excel/powerpoint, ability to confidently navigate Operational systems, as required.
