Description

Purpose of Role:

To oversee general running of Warehouse and daily management of Warehouse Operatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Recognise tasks, organise, and plan workload across the team.
  • Ensure a positive attitude is always maintained by themselves and the team.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are being upheld.
  • Ensure that tasks are completed within time frames.
  • Be reliable, responsible, and flexible to adapt to different shift patterns when required.
  • Maintain high standards of work and act as Role Model to the team.
  • Be proactive in contact with office staff/management concerning queries relating to work orders etc.
  • Oversee/assist staff with larger deliveries to Goods In.
  • Oversee stock investigation.
  • Ensure all staff are motivated in the workplace.
  • Work with/train new members of staff through new procedures
  • Contribute to weekly meetings with Management and workforce.

Skills required:


  • Forklift Licence (Training will be given if necessary)
  • Keyholder responsibility
  • Qualified First Aider (Training will be given if necessary)
  • To positively accept the challenge to move from Operative to Team Leader and be able to set boundaries between themselves and others.
