    The Digital Learning Officer works as part of the Digital Communications Team.

    We are seeking to appoint a Digital Learning Officer to join a friendly, busy and supportive Digital Communications team at the British Psychological Society.

    Experienced in working with a virtual learning environment (VLE) platform, we're looking for a motivated person who can hit the ground running and champion this area of the organisation.

    A key focus of the role will be the day-to-day management of the Moodle Workplace digital learning platform, working with the professional development, qualifications and assessments teams to develop, maintain and quality assure our courses and learning products offering.

    You'll have a keen eye for detail, and technical experience in working with an eLearning platform and associated tools.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Day-to-day management of the Moodle Workplace learning platform across the organisation, ensuring that the BPS brand and quality is represented consistently.
    • Implementing the BPS framework for the use of the platform, including:
      • Developing and maintaining user guides and documentation
      • Providing advice and guidance to queries from internal and external sources
      • Promoting high standards and ensuring they are maintained across the platform
    • Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders with project development and delivery.
    • Providing advice and support on the creation and presentation of new and existing products.
    • Promoting up-to-date best practices in the use of digital learning with BPS internal teams.
    • Contributing to the development of new and engaging learning materials and products using a range of eLearning authoring tools.
    • Design and develop eLearning solutions within BPS Learn for the delivery of courses, qualifications, assessments and professional development to meet the needs of members of the society.
    • Assisting with planning, design and development of technology-based resources to support professional development, including eLearning, multi-media resources (e.g. video) and online assessments.
    • Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the design and delivery of creative and high-quality products.
