Due to continued growth Specialist Group are seeking a production administrator to support in materials purchasing and production planning.
As one of the top bespoke commercial interior fit out companies our clients demand excellence in product quality and on time delivery, this cannot be achieved without strict control of production plans and incoming material.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Enter purchase order details within Microsoft Business Central.
- Lead purchasing of consumables to agreed stocking and replenishment rules.
- Ensure supplier confirmed delivery dates are recorded and maintained within Microsoft Business Central.
- Provide weekly reports on supplier on time deliver performance and follow up with suppliers to ensure goods are received on time.
- Collect information from our remote install teams and process receipt of completed subcontract purchase orders.
- Set up and maintain new item records within Microsoft Business Central.
- Enter new sales order details into the master production planner.
- Participate in daily & weekly production meetings.
- Receive goods requests from remote site teams and maintain a tracker through to completion.
- Produce periodic reports as requested from Microsoft Business Central or other company IT systems.
Essential Criteria:
- 2+ Years in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous use of MRP / ERP systems in a manufacturing setting, preferably Microsoft Business Central / Dynamics 365 / NAV.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a rewarding fast paced environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- Prior manufacturing experience in Joinery or other construction related sector.
- Understanding of joinery materials.
- Future desire to progress in a procurement or production planning role within a growing business.
