Investigo are partnering a leading and instantly recognisable brand to help recruit a Senior Financial Reporting Manager on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this is a high profile role visibility to senior stakeholders.

You will responsible for the technical and control of the group consolidation for the IFRS17.


You will be responsible for oversight of the more technical accounting areas of the group across a number of subsidiary statutory accounts and ensuring accuracy of reporting across the whole business.

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional who excels within both technical accounting and control environments.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the designated legal entity and designated subsidiary statutory accounts reflect the group controls, control frameworks and accounting standards / interpretation.
  • Prepare information for the consolidated statutory accounts.
  • Ensure Group and relevant subsidiary accounts follow IFRS17 requirements.
  • Respond to financial accounting queries from across the Group as well as drafting accounting papers for group accounting matters (e.g. debt, pensions) and supporting the business financial controllers and Head of Group Reporting with more technical items.
  • Own compliance with IFRS & FRS 101 accounting policies, including impact assessments for new accounting standards and uphold governance by managing key stakeholders i.e., Senior Leaders, Executives and Directors.
  • Oversee month end procedures and forecasting of the IFRS17 consolidation adjustments.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring across the group.

Essential:

  • Demonstrable accountancy experience within mediumlarge scale business environments with proven knowledge of both technical accountancy and financial control.
  • Key knowledge and understanding of IFRS17 and FRS 101 accounting policies, procedures and governance.
  • ACA Qualified Accountant.
