Description

Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.

We are seeking to appoint for the following position:

Independent Personal Advisor/Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IPA / IDVA)

Location:
Cardiff

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Starting Salary:
£ 21,695 per annum

Contract:
up to 31st March 2025

The worker will provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse and wider VAWDSV issues and will deliver a range of early intervention and prevention work, intensive support, accommodation-based support and group work.

Role restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).

£21,695.00 per year
