The Supply Finance Controller is part of the wider AC WC Business Finance team that partners the Operational teams to make important decisions on how the PPG business is run, to help deliver our ambition of delivering lasting value to customers, everyday.

You'll have responsibility for leading the Supply Finance team for AC West & Central EMEA sites and be an important strategic partner to the AC West Supply Director.

You will support the leadership team to make the right decisions and help recommend on business opportunities to create value.
You will report to the AC West & Central Finance Director.

LI-hybrid

Will consider full time, part time / flexible working the expectation is that this role will spend 30% of time in our Birstall plant. Some European travel across other sites may be required._

Key Responsibilities

Support the AC West and Central Supply Director
Understand regional/ local risks and opportunities and shape decisions to strengthen performance.
Propose and implement action plans to improve profitability or guide cost efficiency
Support decisions on capital investment
Maintain the costing process accuracy and ensure product costs reflect the most uptodate cost of manufacture.
Challenge the operation on stock control and stock obsolescence and ensure standardisation of the best processes across AC West &Central
Provide a summary picture of the Region's performance to Senior Management including insight to lead action on opportunities
Play an active role across the wider Finance and W&C community

Qualifications

510 years Finance leadership experience
Experience of working in a manufacturing business
