Position Purpose:
B-Skill is looking to recruit a Training & Compliance Administrator to join our Data & Compliance team.
The Data & Compliance team is responsible for processing documentation, ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules and Awarding Bodies. They are also responsible for managing, analysing and reporting on funding and learner data in the organisation.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide a reception service to visitors and callers
- Eligibility and compliance checking of paperwork/documentation in line with Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) rules ensuring integrity and accuracy of funding claims.
- Processing of ILR claim including starts, achievements and inlearning evidence within agreed deadlines.
- Processing of Awarding Body/EPA registrations
- Support with the Production/communication of compliance reports according to the agreed schedules
- Create monthly progress review tracking report
- Liaise with B-Skill staff and managers to clear compliance issues
- Liaise with B-Skill Subcontractors/Partners including processing documentation, producing compliance reports, last evidence reports and general queries
- Fire Marshal duties
- Play an active part in the promotion and awareness of Safeguarding across the business and externally as appropriate, and to help prevent acts of radicalisation and extremism.
- Play an active part in promotion and awareness of Equality & Diversity across the business and externally as appropriate.

The post holder may be required to undertake any other such responsibilities as are reasonably commensurate with the status of this post.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills Required
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience of using IT, including use of word, Excel and Power Point in a work environment
- Customer experience in a customer contact role, such reception
- Business call handling experience
- Handling mail experience
- Experience using a bespoke IT systems is preferred
Skills/Competencies
- Excellent attention to detail and be high organised
- Numerate, has advanced IT, analytical and communication skills and who is confident using a range of IT tools.
- Ability to demonstrate sound experience using Microsoft Office Package, in particular Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to work in a team and establish good working relationships with others.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines set
- Selfmotivating, enthusiastic and a team player
- Good verbal and written skills
Qualifications and Education
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) is essential
- An accredited Business Administration qualification is desirable
- ICT qualification would be desirable
Other Requirements
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Must be smart and presentable at all times
