The team you will be a part of:
- The Channel Sales team is responsible for selling products and services to a wide range of highly complex or major accounts and customers and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets within the overall regional and business unit sales strategy. Accountable for increasing sales/client ratio and expanding customer base.
This role in summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our UK Commercial team.
We are looking for an Account Controller to build and grow our market share, ensuring all KPIs are met in line with overall Account and Channel strategy and targets, by building strong relationships and expanding our customer base to maximise Whirlpool profitability.
You will lead a small team of National Account Managers and be responsible for one of our largest and strategically important trade partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the development of our cross functional customer & category plans
- Identify and unlock the unique opportunities presented by your account
- Collaborating with internal partners to create & execute winning commercial plans
- Influencing external stakeholders to engage in & deliver against Whirlpool goals
- Follow through on plan execution through forecasting, orderbook management and visibility
- Owning all touch points for your account & category responsibilities
- Acting as an ambassador for our company and our products & brands
- Lead a team of 2 National Account Managers
Minimum requirements:
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Good to advanced spreadsheet skills would be beneficial
- Experience of working with or in Commercial teams
- Track record of working in or leading crossfunctional groups
- Driven to deliver results
- Proactive & independent, always looking for ways to improve existing ways of working
- Supportive team player with a positive mindset
- The role will have a requirement to travel within the UK
