    Crane Engineer - United Kingdom - Woodlands Power

    Description

    Woodlands Power is a well-established company and have been offering 24/7 International Rental, Sales & Service of Diesel Generators and associated Power Systems since 1950.

    We are looking to employ a field based Generator Engineer in the South East of England to support our existing customer base, be it our own rental fleet or the maintenance of customers own power systems.

    Diesel engine service, repairs, fault finding & commissioning
    Power system service, repairs, fault finding & commissioning
    Installation & testing of power systems
    Will be required to work 'away from home' on occasions with work based largely in the South/East of England & elsewhere in the UK, with Europe if required

    Previous proven experience of working on diesel generating sets in a field environment is essential (in depth electrical knowledge also preferred)
    Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Plant Fitting or similar to a recognised standard such as BTEC or C&G would be advantageous, but not essential
    In depth knowledge & experience of Deep Sea Electronics & other Control Systems would be advantageous, but not essential
    Candidates must acknowledge the companies 24/7 operation & service and participate in call outs & a call out rota, as required - including overtime hours & out of hours travel on a regular basis
    Holder of current CSCS/ECS card would be advantageous, but not essential
    Full driving licence required
    Company funded training will be offered for the right individual

    Remuneration will be discussed & is dependent upon the level of ability, qualifications held & prior experience that Woodlands believe the candidate will bring to the company, along with overtime rates available as & when required.
