We have a fabulous opportunity at DS Smith for a motivated and energetic self-starter to join the Internal Communications Team as our Senior Internal Communications Business Partner. This is a fantastic role for the right candidate to be part of a dynamic and lively business function and implement their own ideas and processes.

Partnering with the Commercial Leadership Team, you will have a key role is setting and delivering the narrative that will help deliver communication activities effectively throughout the business, resulting in an energised and excited colleague base. Working with the wider Group Corporate Affairs team, you will be supporting various change and transformation activities within the business, as well as measuring the effectiveness of our communication channels and activations.

Working across a matrixed global environment with strong experience of sourcing, writing compelling content and developing communication materials across multiple channels is the key to being successful in this role. This role would be perfect for an ambitious Internal Communications Business Partner looking to step up or an experienced Internal Communications Business Partner looking for their next challenge.

About you

• Degree in related field (Comms/Marketing/PR) or equiv
• Relevant experience working in a Comms/Marketing/PR role
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Passionate storyteller & Content creator
• Able to work independently but also comfortable building strong working relationships with colleagues around the business
• Proactive, detail-orientated & solutions focused
• Excellent project management skills
• Confident, highly motivated and results orientated

Location: This is a hybrid role, split between the office in London Paddington (3 days in office) and home (2 days).
