Primary Teaching Assistant | Chiswick | September or ASAP Start | KS1


A welcoming and inclusive Mainstream Primary School in Chiswick are looking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1 class with a focus on supporting pupils with SEN, this is a fulltime long-term role, that can begin either immediately or in September.


Our partner school has a welcoming and friendly team in place with an exciting and vibrant atmosphere across the school, making this a wonderful places to work and learn.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be supporting children across the class, working with a range of abilities and needs.

Support with take the form of 1:1, small group and across class.

The school has fantastic resources, state-of-the art facilities and specialist teachers.

The SLT here are supportive and are known for helping staff to achieve their professional goals with plenty of CPD and expert guidance.


This Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity is the perfect role for a graduate who is looking for experience to support their future career working with children or an experienced childcare practitioner looking for their next challenge.

Job Description
  • Primary Teaching Assistant

  • Working with children on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and across the class
  • Supporting across all areas of the curriculum
  • September or ASAP Start
  • Long Term & Full Time entire academic year
  • Working hours 8.30am 4.00pm
- £80 - £95 per day (PAYE No umbrella company deductions)

Personnel specification
  • Primary Teaching Assistant
  • Graduate with a good degree from a reputable University.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Experience around children.
  • Comfortable and confident supporting SEN.
  • Proactive, reliable and flexible.
