Salary:
£45k - 50K (Dependant on Experience) OTE £60k
Are you ready to take the driver's seat in a dynamic and thriving environment? The NWH Group is looking for a Head of Service Delivery to lead our Transport Department in Edinburgh
Job Purpose:
To lead the team to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction through operational efficiency. Be the driving force behind success
Main Job Activities:
- Your objective is to optimise vehicle activity within our service areas, and you will aim to achieve this by coordinating with the Maintenance department to ensure a streamlined vehicle maintenance program.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring and improving service delivery functions.
- Conduct driver recruitment, assessment, and provide continuous training.
- Implement driver induction training and develop engaging ongoing training plans.
- Stay updated with relevant legislation and seamlessly implement new regulations.
- Monitor vehicle performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures, including Health & Safety, Road Risk, Discipline & Grievance.
- Manage the Tracker System and maintain comprehensive training records for our skilled drivers.
- Assume accountability for the efficient delivery of regional services.
What we need from you:
- Possess a valid CPC License
- Demonstrate extensive geographical knowledge of local areas.
- Proficient in handling Tachograph and effectively managing driver hours.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude in all professional interactions.
- Display strong professionalism and leadership behaviours in all aspects of work.
- Prior completion of Health and Safety Training
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Road Legislation
