Job Summary
We are currently looking for Trust Doctors at the registrar (ST3+) level at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. This role offers additional experience in various general surgical specialties to support progression into formal training. While not a recognized training position, successful candidates will have access to extensive training and educational opportunities. The Full-Time position entails 40 hours per week, with part-time options available.
Main Duties of the Job
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and operating theatres
- Perform duties in emergencies and unforeseen circumstances as needed
- Handle a variety of surgical procedures including laparotomies, colorectal resections, bariatric operations, and laparoscopic cholecystectomies
- Contribute to a bustling elective breast surgical practice
