Senior CEI Designer - Whitehaven, United Kingdom - ARM

The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently seeking a Senior CE&I Designer for a top Civil Engineering Business specializing in services within the Nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing and Design Production: Develop detailed engineering drawings and designs meeting project and client specifications using AutoCAD.
• Installation Designs: Create CE&I installation designs for the designated area using PDMS, including equipment layout and cable containment design.
• Quality Assurance: Review and verify the work of other designers in the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other designers, engineers, and construction teams to manage space, address installation issues, and resolve clashes.
• Model Development: Adhere to established BEP procedures for model development and control to maintain consistency across the project.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with construction engineers regarding upcoming changes and installation issues.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Qualifications: ONC/D or equivalent installation design experience with PDMS training.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing production, experience with PDMS Model development, and familiarity with design methods in the CE&I discipline.
• Experience: Extensive background in design engineering, especially in hardware designs and cabling infrastructure.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain BPSS is crucial for this role.
