    About Chelsea Football Club's Performance Support Team
    We want to deliver Football Medicine and Performance Sciences differently. To create and be an integrated, open-minded and performance support focused team behind the team. Provide an elite performance medicine provision to our men's first team

    This is a key role to the club and requires a collaborative, committed and professional medical practitioner, who can be a great teammate.

    The role will include but not limited to providing injury or illness assessments, undertaking player signing medicals and assisting in decision making and rehabilitation management of medical issues when required.

    You will work very closely with the interdisciplinary Performance Support team at the club to optimise player availability and readiness.

    This role will include some travelling to and providing medical match day cover for games, which can involve irregular, unsociable hours and overnight stays.

    Provide clinical systems and quality assurance across all our teams

    In addition to the Men's 1stTeam role, you will act as a clinical reference point for all of doctors working with CFC teams.

    This will include helping to establish world class medical systems, pathways, protocols and facilitating case reviews.
    Your sports medicine background
    Full registration/licence to Practice with General Medical Council (GMC)
    Diploma/MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine, or Specialist Registration
    Member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (MFSEM)
