Description
Within the Stewards role are a number of specialist roles, which you will be trained for and expected to cover including:

  • Spectator safety
  • Turnstile operation
  • Transport and car park operations
  • Fire and First Aid
  • Supporter liaison
  • Accessibility officers


As a Steward for the stadium you will play a key role in matchday and event safety and crowd supervision.

You will develop operational knowledge of key areas of the stadium and associated venues, through a comprehensive induction process, whilst developing the necessary skills to ensure you are able to provide our guests with the necessary information to enhance their overall experience within a safe environment.


As an ambassador for the stadium you will provide excellent customer service, whilst ensuring safety and security standards are maintained at all times.

We require our Stewards to take their duties seriously, and as such, are engaged to carry out specific duties and not to watch the event.

You will be flexible, and through our training programme will be able to perform a variety of different roles in different settings and venues.


The successful applicants will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover matchday fixtures and other adhoc events at the Stadium.

Positions will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis. All relevant training will be provided including working towards NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety.

  • Hours: Football and Rugby home games
  • Salary: £10.50 per hour (£11.77 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay)
