About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:

Organising transportation activities, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
Coordinating and tracking movement of goods through logistic pathways.
Executing logistics plans to move products and packages to reach destinations in a timely manner including customs clearance.
Manage and communicate regularly with couriers and transport partners.
Reviewing freight rates and/or other transportation costs.
Plan, communicate and update the daily transport requirements.
Working alongside the Supply Chain and Operations teams, to ensure the accurate processing of despatch documents.
Work alongside the E-Commerce Team to monitor online shipping rates.
Assisting the Customer Service Team with any shipping requests and follow up with any delays/lost shipments.

About you

What you'll need to have:

Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role managing international and domestic transport.
Minimum 2 year experience managing air, ocean and road shipments import and export including customs clearance.
Experience of monitoring shipments from point of receipt through to delivery
Strong knowledge of Incoterms
Experience of international shipping regulations (eg. commodity codes & shipping documents)

It would be nice if you had:

Knowledge of logistics systems / integrated shipping solutions (eg SmartFreight).
Experience of shipping Dangerous GoodsNoone wins unless everyone wins
