About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Organising transportation activities, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
  • Coordinating and tracking movement of goods through logistic pathways.
  • Executing logistics plans to move products and packages to reach destinations in a timely manner including customs clearance.
  • Manage and communicate regularly with couriers and transport partners.
  • Reviewing freight rates and/or other transportation costs.
  • Plan, communicate and update the daily transport requirements.
  • Working alongside the Supply Chain and Operations teams, to ensure the accurate processing of despatch documents.
  • Work alongside the E-Commerce Team to monitor online shipping rates.
  • Assisting the Customer Service Team with any shipping requests and follow up with any delays/lost shipments.

About you

What you'll need to have:


  • Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role managing international and domestic transport.
  • Minimum 2 year experience managing air, ocean and road shipments import and export including customs clearance.
  • Experience of monitoring shipments from point of receipt through to delivery
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms
  • Experience of international shipping regulations (eg. commodity codes & shipping documents)

It would be nice if you had:

  • Knowledge of logistics systems / integrated shipping solutions (eg SmartFreight).
  • Experience of shipping Dangerous GoodsNoone wins unless everyone wins
