We're hiring for a
Quality
Inspector to join a large global stockholder at one of their UK sites based in
Bredbury, Stockport.

The company has over thirty years of experience producing specialist solutions for the energy sector and has a workforce of more than 6,000 workers worldwide.


Reporting into the Technical Manager, you'll be tasked with solving quality and manufacturing related problems to enable work to be delivered on time whilst maintaining efficiency of the business.

What will you be doing as an Quality Inspector?

  • Conducting inspection of components, as and when required, for first off operation, patrol inspection and final inspection to meet the necessary standards
  • Producing Non Conformance Reports (NCR's) as required to enable rectification or modification to assemblies or individual components to be performed whilst allowing the associated cost to be identified
  • Providing engineering hands on support to all areas of manufacturing
  • Ensuring standards of quality and workmanship to BS EN ISO 9001 & AS9100 are met at all times
  • Producing inspection reports during and after final machining

What do you need?

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the Quality Standards to BS EN ISO 900
  • Knowledge of Non Conformance Reports (NCR's)
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Great communications skills and a professional approach
